INDIANAPOLIS, IN - April 1, 2000 - Michael "Wild Thing" Wilson of the Harlem Globetrotters was one of the top stories during Final Four Weekend 2000 in Indianapolis. The 6-5 forward established a new world record by successfully dunking a basketball on a 12-foot portable goal designed by Goalsetter Systems, Inc. of Lynnville, Iowa; a mark that was officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The Harlem Globetrotters have teamed up with Goalsetter Systems, Inc. as a major player on the Goalsetter Advisory Council (GAC) promoting the future of the game of basketball.
