Internal / External

Help Me Choose?

While most basketball manufactures only offer one option in height-adjustability, Goalsetter Systems offers two. Each Goalsetter goal is available with an Internal (inside the pole) or an External Compression Height-Adjustment System.

The Internal Height – Adjustment is entirely concealed with the length of the pole and the handle can easily be reached by the smallest competitors. The Internal Height-Adjustment is shielded from the elements and utilizes Goalsetter’s patented safety compression jack mechanism to raise and lower your rim height infinitely from 6’ to 10’.

The External Height – Adjustment is located outside the pole and the handle placement is higher for older competitors. The External Height-Adjustment also utilizes Goalsetter’s patented safety compression jack mechanism to raise and lower your rim height infinitely from 6’ to 10’.

If you have young competitors or a growing family then Internal jack is definitely your choice.

If your competitors are a bit older then the External jack will do just fine.
